George T. “Bill” Bullard, 84, of Cantonment passed away Sunday, February 21, 2010.
Born on April 18, 1925 in Childersburg, AL, he had resided locally for 44 years. He served his country during WWII with the US Army and was of the Baptist faith. A skilled carpenter, Bill worked for many years at Tiger Point Golf Course and also built homes for E. B. Williams.
Preceded in death is a son, Marcus Wayne Bullard and a brother, Lester Bullard.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary Elizabeth Bullard; brother W. C. Bullard, Sylacuga, AL; sisters Gertrude Varner, Sylacuga, AL and Maxine Masters (Haynes Masters), Birmingham, AL; grandson Richard W. Bullard, Cantonment, FL; granddaughter Tammie S. Bullard, Milton, FL; great-grandsons Marcus L. Hires, Pensacola, FL, Rickie L. Smith, Jr., Waynesboro, TN, Zackery T. Smith, Waynesboro, TN, Christopher W. Bullard, Cantonment, FL and Trevor Kahne Bullard, Cantonment, FL.
A visitation was held Monday, February 22, 2010 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the funeral home with Reverend Chip Hale officiating.
Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
